Taking the Plunge

Dear Friends,

Two days ago celebrated my last day at work with TCS after a service of almost 7 yrs (6 yrs 11 months to be exact :-) ).

The past years at work were very fulfilling and i experienced  tremendous growth in professional , personal and yogic life. While i worked in a leading stock exchange of Europe for the majority of my career , i also made wonderful friends all over the world through my work and hobbies.

7 yrs ago after college, almost all my friends told me that i will not be able to continue my personal commitments to yoga and service once i would be caught in professional life. I smiled as i knew  the universal concept of "where there is a will, there is way". Today i am happy to say that 7 yrs later , i am a Yoga teacher since past 6 years and taught in Germany for almost 4 years and managed everything along with my work.

I took certain decisions multiple times for my personal life which my colleagues at work were shocked with, however later on each one of those proved to be beneficial even when looked from a purely material point of view. The spiritual growth that i experienced due to them is beyond any measurement. I also experienced a principle about which i had heard from Swami Vivekananda " Work selflessly without any consideration and no one will be able to steal your smile".

I have a passion that when i leave this planet i should not have any qualms that i have not been able to do something that i wanted to do. It was a difficult decision to take but next one year of my life i am dedicating to my life passions which are enhancing my understanding about subtle aspects of India, Indian philosophy and travelling. I shall also do a basic mountaineering course for 1 month within next one year. I share a desire of VishwaGuru Bharat and hope to see that getting realised in my lifetime. I hope mother nature accepts the serivice of this son and guides me towards my goal.

I thank you all for your support displayed by each one of you over years.

Thanks & Regards
Antariksh
