Around an year ago when i was living in Delhi, often used to travel from Noida to Aligarh, mostly in night. There are good AC buses available on the route and the journeys were comfortable, i was even able to catch some sleep during the journey due to comfortable buses.
One particular day as i could not find the usual AC bus so sat in an ordinary bus. As the night was of winter, the bus was almost empty with few passengers and i noticed a lone girl sitting in the last seats.
While i was waiting for the bus to depart, meanwhile a preferable AC bus arrived for my route and i was considering to make a move. Then a thought about safety of the lone girl flashed in my mind and i decided not to switch to the other bus.
i sat in the bus , observed like a father that she is safe. Neither she knows me perhaps she didn't even know that someone is looking after her like a father would do. I observed her from a safe distance and departed after her guardians had picked her from the Aligarh bus stop.
Yes we exist and there are millions like us.
